How to play
- 3-8 players.
- Each of 3 rounds shows a silly prompt - write your funniest answer in under 45 seconds.
- Then every answer is shown anonymously and you vote for your favourite (never your own).
- The authors are revealed, each vote is worth 100 points, and the highest total after round 3 wins.
- Chat opens when the match ends.

How many people can play Caption Chaos?
3 to 8 players. You can queue for other players online or invite friends.
Can I play Caption Chaos on my own?
It is an online game, so you play against other people. Friends can join you, or you can queue for a match.
Is Caption Chaos ranked?
Not at the moment: it has no rating or leaderboard, you play it for fun and for coins.
How long does a game take?
A game usually takes somewhere around 5 to 15 minutes. This is a rule of thumb for party games, not an exact figure.
Is Caption Chaos good for beginners?
Yes - party games are usually easy to pick up. Read How to play above and jump in.
What if my connection drops during a match?
The match pauses for up to 30 seconds. The app logs you back in by itself and puts you straight back into the game.
Can I practise against the computer?
Not yet - only Tic-Tac-Toe, Battleship and Rock Paper Scissors have that so far.
What do I get for playing?
Coins, which you can spend on cosmetic things such as name colours and themes. They are never connected to real money.
