Changelog
What changed in each version. The same list is inside the app.
1.2.0 - Quorix opens
- The Quorix game server is now online, so you can sign in, play, and climb the leaderboards with other people.
- New Game night planner on the website: tell it how many of you are playing and for how long, and it builds a lineup of games that fit.
- The website menu is tidier: Play, Live and Learn drop-downs replace a long row of links, and Try it is easier to find.
- The app finds the newest version from the Quorix website, so it can update even when the game server is off.
- A small secret on the website. Can you find it?
1.0.0 - Welcome to Quorix
- Quorix is a multiplayer game platform with more than 50 original games to play with friends: chess, racing, trivia, space battles, party games and more.
- Earn coins from matches and quests, unlock cursors and themes in the shop, and climb the leaderboards.
- Play with friends: friends list, chat, parties, tournaments and group games. Quorix: Dominion is a persistent world of nations, armies and alliances.
- The website has leaderboards for every game that keeps a ranking, live stats, the Dominion map, and sign-in with your Quorix account to see your coin balance.
- The website now has a page for every game with how to play it, a shorter Features page, and an animated slideshow on the home page.
- The website is now animated: sections glide in as you scroll, cards respond to your pointer, and pages fade between each other. It stays still if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Quorix: Dominion now has a real world map: one continent of irregular provinces with a coastline and sea, in the app and on the website, instead of square tiles.
- New on the website: a Questions page, a Privacy page, a search box for games and a Game of the day on the home page.
- The website has a day/night theme switch in the top right, a search (press Ctrl+K), a game ticker, a screenshot gallery and more animation.
- The website has two mini games you can play in the browser, a "find your game" quiz, favourite games, a players filter and a Share button on every game page.
- Quorix has a new logo: just the word, in the Quorix colours, with a plain Q for the app icon and browser tab.
- The website has a road-to-launch page and a progress timeline while Quorix gets ready to open.
- The website's game chooser now asks about you and explains each pick, every game page answers common questions about that game, and the games list has more filters and a Surprise me button.
- The website can compare two games side by side, has a page for every kind of game, a glossary, a safety page for parents, and colour choices in the footer.
- The website has a third mini game (tic-tac-toe against the computer), a records panel and 14 little badges to unlock by exploring.
- Website: a Print the rules button on game pages, a "pick up where you left off" row, did-you-know facts, a text-size control, a keyboard-shortcuts help (press ?), a friendlier 404 page, and the site can be installed like an app.
- The app updates itself: it checks the Quorix website (and GitHub) for the newest version, even when the game server is off, and downloads it before it opens.
- Website: every game has its own share card, there is a favourites page, a changelog feed, a Motion on/off switch, and friendly previews of the leaderboards, Dominion map and voting until the server opens.
- Website: a site-map footer, an at-a-glance summary and numbered rules on every game page, shareable quiz results and game filters, recent searches, Browse by kind tiles, and an offline notice.
